Common questions · the ones owners ask first

Home Care marketing: FAQ.

Does the AI give care advice?

No. The AI collects information and books assessment visits. It does not give clinical advice, assess care needs, or make hiring decisions. Anything clinical, such as symptoms, medications, or a change in condition, routes straight to a nurse or coordinator on your team, and you decide who that person is.

Will families know they are talking to AI?

That is your call, and we recommend saying so plainly: the assistant introduces itself as an automated assistant for your agency and offers a person on request. Have your counsel review the disclosure wording before launch. Families should never be left guessing, and a human handoff stays available.

Do I need to change my scheduling software?

No. Velora builds around the scheduling and CRM tools you already use, and confirms what connects on the free consultation before anything is built. If a tool cannot connect, bookings still reach your team by text and email, with the family's details ready for your coordinator.

Who owns the system and the data?

You do. Your CRM, contact lists, phone numbers, Google profile, and call and text records stay in your name. Velora works with the access you grant and hands back everything it builds. How patient information is handled depends on your agency's HIPAA status, which you settle with your counsel first.

Is the consultation a sales call?

It is a working call. We look at how family calls, referrals, and caregiver applicants reach you today, what happens after hours and on weekends, and which piece to fix first. You leave knowing what we would build first and what it would cost, with no obligation.

How do I get more in-home care clients?

Answer faster and follow up longer than the next agency. Families often call several agencies at once, and referral partners remember who responded. Velora Media builds the AI first responder, missed-call text-back, and referral follow-up that make that happen, with a Google profile that keeps earning reviews.

Can an AI answer calls for a home care agency?

Yes, for intake. It answers every call and text at any hour, collects the family's details and what kind of help they need, and books an assessment visit on your calendar. It gives no clinical advice and quotes no prices, and a person handles everything else. Velora sets it up from $2,000 to $7,500.

How should a home care agency follow up with discharge planners and physicians' offices?

Quickly and consistently, including on weekends. A referral should get a reply the same day, a status update after the assessment, and a short thank-you. A referral CRM tracks each hospital, planner, and office so nothing depends on memory. Velora's Foundation Systems sets this up for $1,000 to $2,500.

How do I get caregiver applicants to respond after they apply?

Reach them fast and keep it simple. A text within minutes, a link to book an interview, and a reminder before it keep good candidates engaged. Hiring decisions stay with your agency, and outreach should follow your state's recruiting and screening rules. Velora automates the follow-up and scheduling, nothing more.

What does it cost, and what is included?

At Velora, the AI first responder (AI Automation & Integration) runs $2,000 to $7,500, Foundation Systems with a referral CRM and lead capture runs $1,000 to $2,500, and Missed-Call Text-Back is $99 a month plus a $350 setup. Retainers run $500 to $3,000 a month. All prices exclude applicable taxes.

Does Velora provide care or make clinical claims?

No. Velora Media is a marketing agency. It builds intake and marketing systems and does not provide care. Your marketing makes no claims about care outcomes or health improvements, because that is not what the systems do. Velora gives no legal or medical advice, and your counsel reviews anything regulated.

Do you work with home care agencies across the United States?

Yes. Velora Media is based in Manhattan and works online with home care agencies in every state. The AI first responder, text-back, referral follow-up, Google profiles, and ads all run online, and the free consultation is booked online. Compliance details differ by state, so confirm yours with your counsel.
